Here are 5 tips to improve your *digital face* and look your best. Be on the way to an All-Start LinkedIn Profile.

Profile photo
Invest in a professional photoshoot. Your face should be visible right in the centre. Smile & look confident. Be the only one in the high-quality photo. Avoid distracting background. Use a lot of light. Wear clothes that you usually wear at work.

Background image
Use it for creativity, branding & call to actions. Create a minimalistic professional design banner with your logo. Place there your tagline, website or email address.

Headline
Fill in with as many keywords as possible related to your role, industry or biz development target. Ask yourself — If someone is going to search for me what they will type in? So, you are going to be indexed by the LinkedIn search engine.

You have 2 ways how to create a headline:
a) write roles, industry words next to each other & divide using symbols
b) make a sentence which will describe who you are, what you do, how & in which industry.

About section = Profile summary
It is the story about You. It is a place for being indexed by the search engine too. Use storytelling content. Include all the keywords. Write about your mission, passion, values, background and experiences. In a few bullet points describe your services. If you are an employee, share the values that you bring to the company. Make a nice closure, call to action & place your contact details. Structure all the content. Create paragraphs & use symbols.

Experience
It is more than a resume. Create a nice title for each role. Include keywords & industry. Structure all the content. Describe what did you achieve within this role, share real cases. You can place the company’s website at the bottom too. Link your Experience with the Company Page & the logo will appear on your profile.

I hope these tips will help you while optimizing your profile.
